Home to the experienced songwriters based in Strathaven (Scotland) who continually produce a diverse range of songs including Pop, R&B and Dance to name a few.
THPSongs were formed in the winter of 2010 with the sole purpose of creating new exciting music including Dance, Pop and R&B under the backdrop of cold grey Glasgow skies. It has proved to be an ideal musical collaboration for Torrance and Hollywood and legendary Producer Drew Phillips who had previously been in charge of the C Sharp recording studio in Glasgow.
We are ambitious, reliable, hard-working and easy to work with. Formed in the
winter of 2010, with the sole purpose of creating new exciting music THPSongs has proved to be an
ideal musical collaboration for many, such as Tim McGeary from Florida with 'A Love Like That', to
Gerry Duncan from Glasgow with multiple tracks such as 'Don't You Know'.
Following the death of
Gerry Hollywood in 2017 and the retirement of Drew Phillips in 2020, THPSongs is now run entirely by
David Torrance and Allan Torrance. Onwards and Upwards.

RIP GERRY HOLLYWOOD
Gerry Hollywood FoundationTHP Songs have lost the 'H' in THP as Gerry Hollywood, born 1st Oct 1949, sadly passed away on the 28th Jan 2017. Gerry will leave a massive hole in THP Songs as he was the driving force and would always keep Drew and Davie from sometimes killing one another! However we will carry on his legacy by working on the songs we wrote with him and the songs he left us that still have to be recorded. REST IN PEACE GERRY. YOU WILL BE MISSED.
